Camping - Reserving camping dates? You have to reserve early, these spots as the primo spots, are taken early. Reservations are a must. The campgrounds are our favorites, we did them until the kids got bigger, now we have grandkids, and will be going back in a few years!

Nice park but...... - Not enough parking space at site, fire ring was too close to parking and noise from I90 was extremely loud.

incorrect information - Arrived at Belfair St. Park at noon Thursday 9.June.2016. Spoke to male black-bearded ranger about reservation for next week and found that desired camping site was open. Ranger stated that online reservation could be made at no cost and via phone reservation was $10. Not correct; I wish he would have just taken my money at the time without the additional delay and cost but apparently this easy process is not possible or something. This seems not only silly but actually increases my tent site cost over 50%. Whoever designed this system uses quite sophisticated arithmetic gymnastics to increase the cost of camping in a state park. Quite discouraging really. Seems that a potential patron cannot arrive at a park, find availability of a campsite/tent site and pay cash for it then and there for a future date. What a system...

Fix the dock!! - A great little park but after 5 yesrs with no dock you would think the parks department would replace it.

Nice Quiet Campground, Pets now allowed. - Dragoon Creek is a nice quiet campground, large sites, lots of trees and creek access. First come first served, no reservations but rarely full. Tent camping is popular, but many of the sites can handle even the largest RVs. Highly recommended.

- Our family and friends had a great time as always as we camped for the weekend.I was very upset at the fact of the one car per spot we had more than enough room for 2 cars but were told no.I can see that rul in the very smal camp sites but not in the larger ones that was tuff as there is very little parking in the park..

- The camp sites are awsome and clean. If arrival is possible at a early time , do! Spots will be taken fast. We had a great experience walking the little trails, camping out in a calm setting and the creek was beautiful.

The Smells of the Tullies - The smell of the Tulles still give me warm fuzzes from our days of boating in the Columbia and relaxing at the Sacajawea State Park. I was an infant when my parents started taking us out through kindergarten. I am so thankful for those memories that warms my tummy and soul.
